Milwaukee Prepares for Brewers’ Historic World Series Championship Parade Friday

Milwaukee is preparing to celebrate the Brewers’ first World Series championship with a downtown parade and fan festival Friday morning.

The Parade of Champions is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the intersection of North Fourth Street and West Wisconsin Avenue. The route will travel east along Wisconsin Avenue, north on Jefferson Street, east on Mason Street, south on Jackson Street and east on Chicago Street before concluding at Henry Maier Festival Park.

The festival grounds, located at Milwaukee’s Summerfest site, will open at 8 a.m. and remain open until 3 p.m. The celebration will include live music, Brewers alumni, championship merchandise and other activities. The first 50,000 fans at the rally will receive a limited-edition championship rally towel, courtesy of Associated Bank.

Admission to the parade and festival grounds is free. Entry to the grounds is first come, first served, however, and access may be restricted if capacity is reached. A separate ticket is required for the program inside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

Fans attending in person should plan for heavy traffic, road closures and limited downtown parking. Organizers recommend arriving early and considering public transportation, carpooling, walking or biking where possible. Those unable to attend can watch the celebration through the Brewers’ official website and streaming platforms.

The celebration follows Milwaukee’s 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game Five of the World Series, securing the first championship in franchise history.
